Samuel Xun (b.1994) is an interdisciplinary visual artist based in Singapore, whose work encompasses sculpture, context-based installation, and textile composition. His practice is centred around the exploration of queer identity, self-therapy, and introspection, often through the examination of cultural and personal symbols inspired by film, cultural milieus, and personal narratives.

Xun's works delve into the complex interplay of emotionality, cognizance, and aesthesis. He creates immersive environments that encourage viewers to engage with their senses and reflect on their own experiences. Through his art, Xun explores the impact of societal norms and expectations on individual identity, as well as the role of art in personal healing and growth.

Xun holds a BA in Fashion Design & Textiles from LaSalle College, and his work draws on his background in fashion to offer a sophisticated and nuanced approach to materials and contemporary culture. His work invites us to re-evaluate the narratives we construct for ourselves and the impact they have on our world view.
