Taylor Ashby Hawkins (b. 1990, Louisville, KY) is an artist living and working in New York City. Hawkins earned a BFA in Painting from the Columbus College of Art and Design in 2012 and an MFA from Columbia University in 2017. Their work engages narrative representation to explore fantasy, subcultures, sci-fi, and the construction of hybrid identities. Through fashion, choreographed poses, and stylized figures, Hawkins brings digital motifs into physical form—creating a dialogue that reflects a generation’s evolving relationship to reality. Recent exhibitions include Ashes/Ashes (New York, 2024) and No Place Gallery (Ohio, 2023).
